In DNSv3, zone files in the server directory will have a number appended, similar to 'example.com._123.zone'. This number is the Resource ID associated with the zone, and is used in ProVision to identify the zone and differentiate zones that may have the same name, but under different DNS Groups. This append does not affect any zone functionality otherwise. |

A note on importing large zones via AXFR, You may need to adjust timeout settings depending on the size of the zone you are importing.
On the ProVision server, you will need to ensure that it has access to the server that will be transferring the zone and that AXFR is enabled.
On the ProVision server, you may need to adjust the php.ini setting "max_execution_time" to 300 seconds, this will ensure that importing a larger zone doesn’t time out.
On the DNS server, you may also need to adjust timeout settings (tcp-timeout, max-transfer-time-out, etc.).
