DHCP Settings

DHCP Settings are accessed by clicking the "DHCP" sub-tab at the top of the Admin Settings page. DHCP Settings are used to support various DHCP functions, including User Defined Options and Push Settings.

When editing options, be sure to click the "Save" button after enter changes.

DHCP User Defined Options

DHCP User Defined Options provides the ability for users to configure their own custom DHCP Options, including:

  • Name: Display name for the new option
  • Code: Option code
  • Option Name: The option name used in the exported configuration
  • Space Name: The space name, if the option is part of a space
  • Encapsulate: Used to encapsulate multiple options from a space
  • Pool Type: Used to specify under which pool type the option will be displayed
  • Description: An optional user-defined text description of the option
  • Option Value: Set the Value Type and whether the option is an array - additional values may be added by clicking "Add Value"


DHCP Push Settings

The following DHCP Push Setting is available:

  • Maximum timeout for Pre/Post command execution in seconds: Set the maximum timeout for Pre/Post command execution, in seconds.
