ProVision 7.0.1 is a minor release with bug fixes and improvements.

Local Software Requirements Update

For local installation customers, ProVision versions 7.0.0 and newer have upgraded software requirements (in red, below):

Note on MySQL: We recommend setting the max_allowed_packet setting in the MySQL configuration file to 128MB (or similar) to account for the typical dataset size handled in ProVision.

Improvements

Holding Tank Improvements

IM-3013 Added the ability to select specific blocks to release from the Holding Tank and links to each blocks IPAM Manage page.

Select individual blocks to release from holding by clicking the checkbox for the desired block(s), then click "Process Holding Tank". 

To release all blocks from the Holding Tank, click the "select all" checkbox at the top left header of the table, ensuring all blocks are selected, then click "Process Holding Tank". 


Bug Fixes / Minor Improvements

IM - 1161:  Added checks for semicolon email address separators for Peering email options.

IM - 2659: Added "MD5 Password" and "Max Prefixes" fields to Peering multi-session config.

IM - 2997: Resolved an error where deletion of a field would prevent access to the Edit Section page. 

IM - 3008: The Resource Linkage Gadget once again saves link updates and additions.

IM - 3009: Fixed an issues where using Assign / Unassign after using a global IP block search link resulted in an error.

IM - 3011: Updated TTL and CNAME validation for the DNS Record Monitor scheduled task.

IM - 3015: The IPAMv2 Gadget - Smart Assign tag selector will no longer truncate the tag list when more than 32 tags exist.

IM - 3016: Updated Data Import from RIR "Continue to ProVision" link to direct to IPAMv2.

IM - 3022: The Session "Notes" field now saves correctly.
